Elvio Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Armando Demario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Armando Demario made the kick off in the second half. Silvano Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Felix Daunte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.R.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 61 minutes into the game, Gilberto Jacob was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burkina Faso Porteño's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.R.C the free kick. C.A.R.C's Eleuterio Elija was substituted for Silvano Soter. A collision led to C.A.R.C getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Gaudencio Perpinya hit a great ball. C.A.R.C's Elvio Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Demario in the 94th minute of play. Vladimiro Venerando's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 96thth minute, Elvio Raphael skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.A.R.C fans cheered their team off the field, for while Burkina Faso Porteño had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
