The supporters of Planet Caravan booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anísio Saraiva hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 12 minutes, Luís Fabian made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 16 played minutes Luís Fabian rounded Germany's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Glauco Fernandez kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. If Enrique de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 21 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. In the 22nd minute of the match Ademir de Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Planet Caravan's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ademir de Amorim in the 23rd minute. Gilvan Quirino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 29th minute of play forced Planet Caravan's goalkeeper Waldir Peres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Planet Caravan got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Montenegro. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Albin Holweck dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Waldir Peres, 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albin Holweck during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Fabian in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Luís Fabian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Waldir Peres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. After 84 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. In the 85th minute of the match Ademir de Amorim sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gilvan Quirino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Planet Caravan's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilvan Quirino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
