Cayetano Santikurtz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Augusto Afonso made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Itín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Gorri came free, but Augusto Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Guib's late challenge caught a ANIMAL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardino Guib helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Itín AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Bernardino Guib hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Joaquin Herensuge put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Afonso. Augusto Afonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Augusto Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
