Tadeo Frances dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the game, Beniamin Osowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viamonte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico de Antonita the free kick. In the 19th match minute, Viamonte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beniamin Osowski to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute, Serafino Argi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Martino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Frances. Rodrigo Martino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Delmar Malvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Constantino Intxixu kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

A beautiful save bye Club Atletico de Antonita's goalie prevented a goal. Evaristo Sotero hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The Viamonte fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Viamonte's Rodrigo Martino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-8 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Humberto Nogueira struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Tadeo Frances didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viamonte. 95 minutes into the match, Viamonte's goal looked a bit too open when Silverio Eder came free, but Melquiades Jakobe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
