The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kacper Arbaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rodrigo Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the game, Viamonte's Rodrigo Martino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Primitivo Odon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alejo Lamberto hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Martino in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primitivo Odon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Viamonte booed when Arteaga AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Odon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rodrigo Martino went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Kacper Arbaszewski took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Primitivo Odon. Primitivo Odon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Martino in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primitivo Odon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rodrigo Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Melquiades Jakobe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Rodrigo Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Primitivo Odon made a huge save. 65 minutes into the game, Bernardino Santo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Melquiades Jakobe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kacper Arbaszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. The Viamonte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Beniamin Osowski got free with Primitivo Odon in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Viamonte's Rodrigo Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Delmar Malvin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Primitivo Odon, 1-6. Rodrigo Martino in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. A beautiful save bye Arteaga AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Rodrigo Martino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-7. Primitivo Odon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Viamonte played a much better game than Arteaga AFC and deserved their victory. The Arteaga AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
