Brancos MZB's Filiberto Bastia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Brancos MZB from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Herauso in the 8th minute of play forced Maimará FC's goalkeeper Anier Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Constantino Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Maimará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Iratxo came free, but Anier Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Constantino Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Iratxo in the 39th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Iratxo made a kick off. Brancos MZB's Filiberto Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Noe in the 52nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Brancos MZB's Constantino Iratxo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anier Peruxu. That made the score 0-2 after 55 minutes of play. Anier Peruxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Iratxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Maimará FC's Daniel Bonifaco got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Hector Sagrario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anier Peruxu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomás Caetano's late challenge caught a Brancos MZB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Caetano helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Brancos MZB booed when Maimará FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute Constantino Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Peruxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anier Peruxu was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Constantino Iratxo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Constantino Iratxo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Cristian Herauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Anier Peruxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Maimará FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Tomás Caetano hit a great ball. Filiberto Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Bonifaco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Maimará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Constantino Iratxo came free, but Anier Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristian Herauso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
