In the 11th minute, Higinio Neto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Gonsalve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. José Carlos da Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Havier in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Ariando saved Guaraní from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Guaraní's zone, Francisco Hats stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albino Ariando came out of the goal and Francisco Hats tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 21st minute Francisco Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albino Ariando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Eloy Gonsalve had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Carlos da Silva. La Signora Omicidi's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eloy Gonsalve was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Eloy Gonsalve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Carlos da Silva having to interfere. Eloy Gonsalve's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Carlos da Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Eloy Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. José Carlos da Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guaraní. With a little luck, Guaraní's Albino Ariando got control of the ball when Alberto Havier tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot by Florentino Eusko from long distance, 38 minutes into the match, got Albino Ariando's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 40 minutes of play, Guaraní's Higinio Ted made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Carlos da Silva was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Higinio Ted had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Hats was the one to do the kick off. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 52nd minute of the game. One of Guaraní:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of La Signora Omicidi:s goal. In the 53rd minute there was a penalty for La Signora Omicidi. Florentino Eusko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Albino Ariando. 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Francisco Hats managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Signora Omicidi's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Hats was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Ariando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eloy Gonsalve took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Carlos da Silva. José Carlos da Silva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. A collision led to Guaraní getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Higinio Neto hit a great ball. Guaraní's Higinio Neto pulled a muscle in his back after 74 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 74 minutes into the game, Alberto Havier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Signora Omicidi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guaraní the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Signora Omicidi's Alberto Havier got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Alberto Havier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaraní's Albino Ariando was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 85 played minutes La Signora Omicidi got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Hats. A collision led to La Signora Omicidi getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Francisco Hats hit a great ball. Albino Ariando stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Havier's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. When La Signora Omicidi's Alberto Havier in the 91st minute got a chance for a shot 91st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guaraní's goalie prevented a goal. After 91 played minutes Guaraní got a freekick which was hit by Isidoro Jorrin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alberto Havier in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Ariando saved Guaraní from getting behind. Guaraní's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
