The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Alfonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Augusto Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 23 minutes, Jeremias Alfonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alanices's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Alfonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cesar Romelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Godfredo Tomi came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Alanices fans jumped to their feet. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute, Adrian Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alonzo Innocenzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Sidoro in the 89th minute of the match. Augusto Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Alfonso in the 93rd minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
