The referee ignored Uniondetandil's protests and gave Ciriaco Omero a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Uniondetandil's Ciriaco Omero got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A hard shot by Jeronimo Chinto from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Ildefonso Isadore's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Uniondetandil's Ildefonso Isadore got control of the ball when Amador Valerio tried to sneak it across the goal line. IMANOL F.C's Jeronimo Chinto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ildefonso Isadore but with some difficulty. Ildefonso Isadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Clemencin in the 17th minute of play. IMANOL F.C's Hilario Tolino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervasio Sasoin in the 18th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when IMANOL F.C's Paolo Clemencin in the 22nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ildefonso Isadore was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Uniondetandil through an amazing save. Lucio Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Tolino having to interfere. With his leg Ildefonso Isadore managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when IMANOL F.C's Godfredo Baldovino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 35 minutes, Gervasio Sasoin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uniondetandil and the IMANOL F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Uniondetandil's Gervasio Sasoin got a free kick in the 36th minute. Ildefonso Isadore stood somewhat misplaced when Godfredo Baldovino came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 37 minute. Hilario Tolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gervasio Sasoin, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience was convinced that Godfredo Baldovino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ildefonso Isadore was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Uniondetandil played a much better game than IMANOL F.C and deserved their victory. The IMANOL F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
