After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Voldemar Ubar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseta's supporters rose to their feet, but Voldemar Ubar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Cayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Orlando Guillen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Joaquin Javiero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joaquin Javiero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Abeita in the 22nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Guillen in the 24th minute of play forced Meseta's goalkeeper Joaquin Javiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amador Cayo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Voldemar Ubar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Danel scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 played minutes Tekno got a freekick which was hit by Santo Paio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Baladi in the 33rd minute of play forced Tekno's goalkeeper Amador Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Meseta's Voldemar Ubar in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tekno's goalie prevented a goal. Meseta's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristo Baladi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Cayo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Meseta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tekno were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cleto Abeita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tekno's Amador Cayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Amaya in the 55th minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Meseta's Cristo Baladi made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amador Cayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tekno's goalkeeper Amador Cayo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Christian Danel scored 1-4 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Javiero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 78th minute Marcial Amaya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Cayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meseta's Cristo Baladi got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Voldemar Ubar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Amador Cayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Tekno:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Meseta:s goal. In the 94th minute of the match Eduardo Suero sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amador Cayo skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Tancredo in the 95th minute of play forced Tekno's goalkeeper Amador Cayo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chants of Tekno echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Meseta had held the ball for most of the match.
