The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Tancredo got free with Ambrosio Pierres in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dante Indalecio hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ricardo Tancredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Codruț Zâncă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huase's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Zâncă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrosio Pierres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 26 minutes into the match, Pampero FC's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Zâncă came free, but Ambrosio Pierres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Pierres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cristobal Loco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Pampero FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Huase:s goal. Ambrosio Pierres went to the wrong direction when Ricardo Tancredo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ambrosio Pierres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Loco, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Francisco Musko charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Musko the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Huase booed when Pampero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ricardo Tancredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Ambrosio Pierres made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Ricardo Tancredo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Ambrosio Pierres to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nemesio Perico stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Pampero FC booed when Huase was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Codruț Zâncă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Pierres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Tancredo in the 67th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Indar during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 68th minute, Gervasio Indar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Tancredo in the 70th minute of play forced Pampero FC's goalkeeper Ambrosio Pierres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Pierres was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ambrosio Pierres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Loco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 88 minutes into the game, Huase's Ricardo Tancredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ambrosio Pierres made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. A collision led to Huase getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Melquiades Sauveur hit a great ball. Fernan Aurken struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alfonso Mede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pampero FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Vides in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfonso Mede prevented the ball from getting in the gole. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pampero FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Huase.
