In the 16th minute Generoso Txomin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafino Demesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Mártires's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Gumaro came free, but Serafino Demesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Llope's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herminio Eron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Herminio Eron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Llope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Llope in the 34th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Herminio Eron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Fernendo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Daniel Llope came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Mártires fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Llope couldn't finish the play. Isaias Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boston Celtics's Generoso Txomin got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Generoso Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Demesio having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Llope in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herminio Eron saved Boston Celtics from getting behind. In the 69th match minute, Boston Celtics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Lore to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Generoso Txomin in the 71st minute of play forced Mártires's goalkeeper Serafino Demesio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Generoso Txomin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Demesio having to interfere. Herminio Eron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Llope, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Silvio Eate made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Generoso Txomin immediately put the ball in play. The audience was convinced that Daniel Llope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herminio Eron was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Mártires's Vinicio Fernendo got a free kick in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Boston Celtics players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mártires.
