In the 23rdth minute of the game Roque Fort who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A.San Martin de Tucuman's Simon Mundo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evelio Rumaldo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Gabriel Kiliz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simon Mundo having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, C.A.San Martin de Tucuman's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Kiliz came free, but Simon Mundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for C.A.San Martin de Tucuman! Simon Mundo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Kiliz's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Roque Fort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Putin Club's Gabriel Kiliz got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gabriel Kiliz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Simon Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Kiliz in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Simon Mundo saved C.A.San Martin de Tucuman from getting behind. 44 minutes into the match, Roque Fort notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of C.A.San Martin de Tucuman's Simon Mundo. Simon Mundo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After the first half Putin Club were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Kiliz was the one to do the kick off. Roque Fort sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Mundo came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Putin Club's Roque Fort. But to his dismay, Roque Fort quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After a rather tough play, C.A.San Martin de Tucuman's Baldomiro Gonsalve got a free kick in the 59th minute. Roque Fort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Simon Mundo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remy Quinn's late challenge caught a C.A.San Martin de Tucuman's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Quinn helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A.San Martin de Tucuman booed when Putin Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remy Quinn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Simon Mundo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Kiliz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gabriel Kiliz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Putin Club made a substitution.
