Silvinho Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abelardo Vellito having to interfere. Cornelio Sandalio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, C.A. Palo Viejo's Abelardo Vellito got control of the ball when Bacary Dagorn tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Heli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 23rd playminute. Juan Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. C.A. Palo Viejo's Abelardo Vellito proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save C.A. Palo Viejo from getting a goal against them. Abelardo Vellito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bacary Dagorn in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Bacary Dagorn could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Abelardo Vellito however easily saved by the left post. C.A. Palo Viejo's Abelardo Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Heli in the 43rd minute of play.

If Saverio Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, C.A. Palo Viejo's Ivan Jokin made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sune Möller was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th minute, Juan Heli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abelardo Vellito was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. In the 73rd minute Juan Heli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Vellito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Heli in the 79th minute of play forced C.A. Palo Viejo's goalkeeper Abelardo Vellito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Bacary Dagorn made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Vellito. C.A. Palo Viejo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. C.A.
