Bonifacio Miliano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benigno Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Bonifacio Miliano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Raphael in the 29th minute of play. Nicolas Bernal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Conrado Etxahun made a huge save. In the 31st minute of the match, Nicolas Bernal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Conrado Etxahun was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 37th minute, Isidoro Rubio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Conrado Etxahun. The goal made the score 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferrocarril Sud de Tandil's Isidoro Rubio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Conrado Etxahun. That made the score 3-2 after 41 minutes of play. Conrado Etxahun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Rubio's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Isidoro Rubio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Conrado Etxahun. That made the score 4-2 in the 47 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Rubio was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Rubio in the 53rd minute of play forced Guayatayoc FC's goalkeeper Conrado Etxahun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Isidoro Rubio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Conrado Etxahun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidoro Rubio took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Conrado Etxahun. Conrado Etxahun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. After some careless play in the Guayatayoc FC defense, Isidoro Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Conrado Etxahun. The Guayatayoc FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Conrado Etxahun should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Isidoro Rubio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Conrado Etxahun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Conrado Etxahun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segundo Javiar in the 74th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Guayatayoc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Javiar came free, but Conrado Etxahun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Isidoro Rubio made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Etxahun. Guayatayoc FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-2.
