After having played for 3 minutes, Nereo Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UNIVERSITARIO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nereo Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atlas la otra pacion's Norberto Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Lauro in the 4th minute of play. 14 minutes in the game, Saul Haitz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Angelo Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Haitz in the 16th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Alfonso Esiquio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Norberto Ariando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atlas la otra pacion's Norberto Ariando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Lauro in the 23rd minute of play. Saul Haitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Angelo Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Ladislao Leoncio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Atlas la otra pacion's Norberto Ariando. Norberto Ariando was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Atlas la otra pacion's zone, Ladislao Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Norberto Ariando came out of the goal and Ladislao Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nereo Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norberto Ariando having to interfere. Saul Haitz had several of the UNIVERSITARIO's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 39 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Angelo Padro as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jose Ondino hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After having played for 45 minutes, Saul Haitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ladislao Leoncio to make the kick off. 58 minutes into the match, Atlas la otra pacion's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Leoncio came free, but Norberto Ariando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlas la otra pacion defense, Nereo Lauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norberto Ariando. The Atlas la otra pacion fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norberto Ariando should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the match, Atlas la otra pacion's Saul Haitz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Angelo Padro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enzo Toribio hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Angelo Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Haitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Ladislao Leoncio took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Norberto Ariando to make any attempt to save it. Modesto Aires hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. UNIVERSITARIO's Clemente Figueroa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 77th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atlas la otra pacion. After 87 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Atlas la otra pacion! Roque Fiz hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Leonides Jenaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Angelo Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 97th minute, UNIVERSITARIO's Ladislao Leoncio dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-7.
