The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramon Loco got free with Lucio Llorenc in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fermin Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 32 minutes of play, C.A.Belgrano's Serafin Larpe made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Norberto Vimaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ricardo Opilano fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A.Belgrano's protests and gave Ricardo Opilano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Super Bosteros booed when C.A.Belgrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Opilano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Super Bosteros's Anibal Timo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 39th minute Carolo Iratxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucio Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Llorenc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Iratxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anibal Timo kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Serafin Larpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norberto Vimaro was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. After the first half C.A.Belgrano were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 87th minute, Super Bosteros's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Serafin Larpe fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
