Gonzalo Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardino Lopes, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Clica's zone, Bernardino Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gonzalo Sabino came out of the goal and Bernardino Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Bernardino Lopes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzalo Sabino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Cristofol in the 26th minute of play. La Clica's Gonzalo Sabino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Harkaitz in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to La Clica getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Godfredo Ignado hit a great ball. 39 minutes into the game, PATO SILVA F. C.'s Eduardo Cristofol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonzalo Sabino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Gonzalo Sabino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Harkaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 59th minute of the match Angelino Lastur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonzalo Sabino skillfully saved the ball. Norberto Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Bernardino Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the PATO SILVA F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardino Lopes couldn't finish the play. After having played for 66 minutes, Arnaldo Ascencio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Clica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Ascencio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 72 minutes into the match, La Clica's goalkeeper Gonzalo Sabino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Lopes. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduardo Cristofol got free with Gonzalo Sabino in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicolao Climent hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Eduardo Cristofol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Sabino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bernardino Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Bernardino Lopes notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of La Clica's Gonzalo Sabino. Gonzalo Sabino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. PATO SILVA F. C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
