The referee ignored a2toques FC's protests and gave Ernesto Abel a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for a2toques FC! An unexpectedly hard shot by Donato Peli in the 38th minute of play forced a2toques FC's goalkeeper Vicente Quinito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Manzanares FC booed when a2toques FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Montay didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th minute German Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Quinito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Manuel Leal in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Bazkoare prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 57 minutes, Donato Peli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzanares FC and the a2toques FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 57 played minutes Manzanares FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato Peli. Ulises Montay's late challenge caught a Manzanares FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Montay helped the player get up and apologised. Ulises Montay kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Ceferino Galeno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Quinito read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Donato Peli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 66th minute of the match Donato Peli completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Donato Peli a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
