If Alonzo Machado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafino Manex to make the kick off. When Club Atletico Piña Colada's Serafino Manex in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Los Malon's goalie prevented a goal. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Piña Colada's goalkeeper Nicolas Lapurdi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Luciano Jerardo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Los Malon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luciano Jerardo couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Los Malon's Luciano Jerardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Lapurdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Luciano Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Lapurdi having to interfere. Los Malon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
