An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Etxepare in the 27th minute of play forced Puchuzún's goalkeeper Rogelio Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Florin in the 28th minute of play. Rogelio Nuñez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gervasio Telo went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute Severo Castel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donato Barto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
