After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Cayetano Hibai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vértiz's supporters rose to their feet, but Cayetano Hibai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albino Abechuco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariano Ramone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Barto's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Efrain Benet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Albino Abechuco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Boca Super Campeón's Simon Florin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Ramone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Cayetano Hibai struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Albino Abechuco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vértiz. 34 minutes into the game, Eugenio Vellito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Albino Abechuco. Cayetano Hibai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Albino Abechuco made a huge save. If Simon Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Barto to make the kick off. Vértiz's Mariano Ramone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Etxepare in the 52nd minute of play. 57 minutes into the game, Simon Florin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mariano Ramone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Efrain Benet came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Vértiz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efrain Benet couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cayetano Hibai in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Albino Abechuco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Simon Florin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, one of Vértiz:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Vértiz. Mariano Ramone had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Simon Florin's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Albino Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Hibai, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Boca Super Campeón's goal looked a bit too open when Cayetano Hibai came free, but Albino Abechuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donato Barto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ramone having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cayetano Hibai in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albino Abechuco saved Boca Super Campeón from getting behind. When Donato Barto came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Boca Super Campeón fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Barto couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Benet in the 97th minute of play forced Boca Super Campeón's goalkeeper Albino Abechuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Vértiz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boca Super Campeón were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
