Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marcelino Chago kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Abar in the 3rd minute of play forced Puchuzún's goalkeeper Rogelio Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in BAYCORPS's zone, Gavino Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orlando Mikelar came out of the goal and Gavino Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 5 minutes into the match, Puchuzún's Desiderio Tuste sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, BAYCORPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Xabat to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute Marcelino Chago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Nuñez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gavino Cayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Mikelar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Puchuzún's Gavino Cayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Mikelar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rogelio Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Chago in the 16th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joaquin Hitzeder during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 24 minutes into the game, Leonardo Ermano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BAYCORPS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Puchuzún the free kick. The supporters of Puchuzún booed when BAYCORPS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Ermano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Puchuzún's Rogelio Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Abar in the 27th minute of play. Marcelino Chago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Nuñez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Desiderio Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot. Puchuzún's supporters rose to their feet, but Desiderio Tuste was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Mikelar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Astor Phelipe's late challenge caught a BAYCORPS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Astor Phelipe helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th minute, Astor Phelipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavino Cayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Mikelar having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind BAYCORPS's goalkeeper Orlando Mikelar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Carlos Abar might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogelio Nuñez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carlos Abar ran back to his position shaking his head. BAYCORPS's Carlos Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 48 played minutes BAYCORPS got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Hitzeder. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Tuste stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes BAYCORPS got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Hitzeder. In the 59th match minute, BAYCORPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Xabat to maneuver through the defense. Carlos Abar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Rogelio Nuñez made a huge save. Desiderio Perico hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Desiderio Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, BAYCORPS's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Lore came free, but Orlando Mikelar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 played minutes BAYCORPS got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Gamus. 78 minutes into the match, Gavino Cayo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando Mikelar. BAYCORPS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gavino Cayo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind BAYCORPS's goalkeeper Orlando Mikelar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
