Mariano Ramone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Incendio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Camilo Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Benet in the 19th minute of play. Rafael Pierres hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Efrain Benet notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of CA Taco y Rabona's Camilo Rainerio. Camilo Rainerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CA Taco y Rabona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 37 minutes into the match, Vértiz's goalkeeper Mariano Ramone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edelmiro Oalo. 39 minutes into the match, CA Taco y Rabona's Honorio Incendio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mariano Ramone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the game, CA Taco y Rabona's Edelmiro Oalo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mariano Ramone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After having played for 47 minutes, Edelmiro Oalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Taco y Rabona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edelmiro Oalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Benet to strike the kick off in the second half. Honorio Incendio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Hibai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Oalo in the 71st minute of play forced Vértiz's goalkeeper Mariano Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Incendio struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Mariano Ramone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Taco y Rabona. CA Taco y Rabona's Honorio Incendio got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Edelmiro Oalo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the CA Taco y Rabona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Oalo couldn't finish the play. In the 80th match minute, CA Taco y Rabona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Patora to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match Cesar Fonso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Camilo Rainerio skillfully saved the ball. Mariano Ramone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Incendio's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Honorio Incendio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vértiz's Mariano Ramone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorio Incendio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ramone having to interfere. CA Taco y Rabona were furious when Rafael Pierres was red carded, 91 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for CA Taco y Rabona! Mariano Ramone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Poz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Horacio Poz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The CA Taco y Rabona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3.
