Spectators: 6642 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1642, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Serafino Suarez kicked off to start the match. Valon Quiero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Montay in the 13th minute. Siro Montay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valon Quiero having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Batán AFC's Haroldo Cordara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valon Quiero. Valon Quiero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Valon Quiero was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Siro Montay capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Siro Montay really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Defensores Unidos Zarate's goalkeeper Valon Quiero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Montay. In the 24th match minute, Batán AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Rufio to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Jatsu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Froilan Vedillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valon Quiero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Siro Montay in the 29th minute. Siro Montay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Valon Quiero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Defensores Unidos Zarate's Valon Quiero got control of the ball when Siro Montay tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, Defensores Unidos Zarate's Serafino Suarez made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froilan Vedillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 45th minute, Serafino Suarez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores Unidos Zarate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Siro Montay made the kick off in the second half. Batán AFC's Froilan Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Batán AFC from getting a goal against them. After 53 minutes of play, Batán AFC's Haroldo Cordara made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valon Quiero was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Terciero in the 55th minute of play forced Defensores Unidos Zarate's goalkeeper Valon Quiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Victor Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Montay took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valon Quiero. Valon Quiero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Valon Quiero came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Batán AFC's Haroldo Cordara. But to his dismay, Haroldo Cordara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. In the 67th minute, Siro Montay made a precise shot to the right of Valon Quiero. Defensores Unidos Zarate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-2. Eloy Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloy Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eloy Manni kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After having played for 75 minutes, Siro Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Batán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siro Montay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Valon Quiero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Cordara, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Montay in the 79th minute of play forced Defensores Unidos Zarate's goalkeeper Valon Quiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Defensores Unidos Zarate getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Aquiles Mambru hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Siro Montay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batán AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Montay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valon Quiero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Defensores Unidos Zarate's Aquiles Mambru in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batán AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Defensores Unidos Zarate's Serafino Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute Aquiles Mambru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
