After 8 played minutes Wahnren FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Chepe. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafino Suarez in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Piorno saved Wahnren FC from getting behind. Aquiles Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Melchor Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes, Defensores Unidos Zarate's Tobias Pes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melchor Piorno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensores Unidos Zarate reached it. If Serafino Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Mosen in the 31st minute of play forced Defensores Unidos Zarate's goalkeeper Valon Quiero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Tobias Pes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Melchor Piorno showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Joaquin Baleren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valon Quiero having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeo Mosen made a kick off. A collision led to Wahnren FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Bonifacio Chepe hit a great ball. A hard shot by Leonel Michael from long distance, 51 minutes into the match, got Melchor Piorno's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Valon Quiero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Mosen in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Wahnren FC's zone, Aquiles Mambru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melchor Piorno came out of the goal and Aquiles Mambru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aquiles Mambru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Melchor Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valon Quiero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Mosen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Wahnren FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
