The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Cangrejillos FC's Rodrigo Tab got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Ariel Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hipolito Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Serafin Lluterio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Hipolito Dominix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Uzuri having to make a save. Diego Manuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ariel Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Barrealito booed when Cangrejillos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Txema didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Manuelo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Cangrejillos FC's Fidel Urtzi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristobal Machado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cristobal Machado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Rivero, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After 62nd play minutes Cayetano Txema shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Cristobal Machado and just under the crossbar into goal. Israel Pitin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Cangrejillos FC's Ezequiel Brion got a free kick in the 67th minute. 72 minutes into the match, Cangrejillos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Manuelo came free, but Ariel Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Barrealito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Lluterio to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Machado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Txema in the 82nd minute of play. If Diego Manuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Barrealito's Arsenio Arotza got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 96th minute Fidel Urtzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Machado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Many of Barrealito's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Barrealito may have spent more time on the ball, but Cangrejillos FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
