An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Bonifaco in the 93rd minute of play forced Escalante AFC's goalkeeper Marcelo Clodio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Mendoza Futbol Club were the better team. Mendoza Futbol Club's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
