Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rafael Demesio kicked off to start the match. Roman Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Matai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ariel Rafel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Rafel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aquilino Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Alonso kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. If Washington de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Roman Alonso got free with Ariel Rafel in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Matai, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Roman Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 45th minute Washington de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Chago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Roman Alonso made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Washington de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atencio and the Saforcada players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 51 played minutes Atencio got a freekick which was hit by Washington de Medeiros. Vitinho Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Atencio's Americo Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Pedro Matai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Rafel. Atencio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Matai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Atencio's Ariel Rafel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Matai in the 67th minute of play. Saforcada were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Atencio's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pedro Matai took the corner. Saforcada's Pedro Matai was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ariel Rafel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roman Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Rafel having to interfere. Ariel Rafel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. A collision led to Saforcada getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cipriano Hurko hit a great ball. Roman Alonso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 minutes of play, Saforcada's Aquilino Goren made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Rafel was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Saforcada's zone, Washington de Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximo Chago came out of the goal and Washington de Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roman Alonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Rafel having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Saforcada players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
