Spectators: 7162 (Terracing: 5373, Seating: 1647, VIP seats: 142) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Basilio Selatse started the match with the kick off. Benicio Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Selatse in the 3rd minute of play. Basilio Selatse struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Benicio Chorache didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Embalse FC. Nacional's Benicio Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Selatse in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Embalse FC's Alfonso Damario got a free kick in the 7th minute. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Rodolfo Quilino sped through Embalse FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florencio Orti. Lukas Hammarberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Chorache having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Embalse FC's Basilio Selatse made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benicio Chorache was left in no man's land by his defense there! 16 minutes into the match, Basilio Selatse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benicio Chorache. Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basilio Selatse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Igor Madaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Embalse FC's Lukas Hammarberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benicio Chorache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 26 minutes, Lukas Hammarberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Embalse FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lukas Hammarberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Nacional defense, Basilio Selatse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Chorache. The Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Chorache should have stopped the shot. Benicio Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basilio Selatse, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Selatse came free, but Benicio Chorache reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodolfo Quilino to make the kick off. Nacional's Igor Madaleno managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Fidel Shepherd in the 57 minute of the game. Lukas Hammarberg hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Nacional defense, Basilio Selatse kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benicio Chorache. The Nacional fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benicio Chorache should have stopped the shot. Nacional's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Lukas Hammarberg 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-5. 68 minutes into the match, Nacional's goalkeeper Benicio Chorache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basilio Selatse. After 68 minutes, Esteve Savier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional and the Embalse FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Embalse FC's Ramon Lizardi was substituted for Lukas Hammarberg. After 70 played minutes Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Savier. Rodolfo Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77thth minute of the game Rodolfo Quilino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Embalse FC's Florencio Orti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rodrigo Abella fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Embalse FC's protests and gave Rodrigo Abella a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nacional booed when Embalse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Abella didn't get a good kick on the ball. Basilio Selatse could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Benicio Chorache made a huge save. Nacional's Benicio Chorache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Lizardi in the 85th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Igor Madaleno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Embalse FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
