In the 4th minute, Denis Cresitobalo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rigoberto Eguen. The goal made the score 1-0. Rigoberto Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After 13 minutes, Emilio Eudoxio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talagapa and the Muchohuevo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 13 played minutes Talagapa got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Eudoxio. Rigoberto Eguen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Santiago Fidele in the 16th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Muchohuevo's Santiago Fidele nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Eguen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Honorio Bilintx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jacobo Sasoin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enzo Odon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rigoberto Eguen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Rigoberto Eguen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Chano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Liberto in the 41st minute of play forced Talagapa's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Bilintx might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Sasoin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honorio Bilintx ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Talagapa booed when Muchohuevo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Odon didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Liberto in the 60th minute of play forced Talagapa's goalkeeper Rigoberto Eguen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Fidele took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Eguen. Rigoberto Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. During the 68th minute of the match Emilio Eudoxio completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Emilio Eudoxio a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Talagapa's Emilio Eudoxio got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute, Zé Paulo Severo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rigoberto Eguen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolfo Liberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Eguen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Chano in the 77th minute of play. Santiago Fidele took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Eguen. Rigoberto Eguen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 95 minutes into the match, Talagapa's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Fidele came free, but Rigoberto Eguen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muchohuevo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
