Americo Gaufred showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guido Lopes in the 5th minute of the match. After 8 played minutes Encina got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Fliz. 10 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo FC's Edgardo Arias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Koldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Americo Gaufred didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leandro Colas went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Eriberto Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Litago, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Eriberto Koldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mark Litago's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Desiderio Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eriberto Koldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Desiderio Baumer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eriberto Koldo having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Desiderio Baumer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eriberto Koldo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 44th minute Desiderio Baumer suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 43 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Encina! Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernan Endira to strike the kick off in the second half. Mark Litago did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Eriberto Koldo 54 minutes into the match. Edgardo Arias was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. San Lorenzo FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eriberto Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Litago, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Encina's goalkeeper Eriberto Koldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fermin Abar. Eriberto Koldo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Mark Litago sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Fernan Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encina's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Endira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Gaufred breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 76 minutes into the game, Leandro Colas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Americo Gaufred was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mark Litago in the 83rd minute of play forced Encina's goalkeeper Eriberto Koldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eriberto Koldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Litago, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, Edgardo Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. San Lorenzo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Litago recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Edgardo Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eriberto Koldo was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Edgardo Arias capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgardo Arias really showed his touch with that goal: 2-5.
