The audience was convinced that Freddy Cilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filomeno Bizen was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Filomeno Bizen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Marin in the 28th minute of the match. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernesto Cisco to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Borussia Mönchengladbach's zone, Freddy Cilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Bizen came out of the goal and Freddy Cilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adan Herensuge kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Ernesto Cisco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Artizar having to interfere. Efrain Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Justino Artizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Bizen made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Freddy Cilio sent off a good shot on target.
