Spectators: 7149 (Terracing: 5363, Seating: 1644, VIP seats: 142) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Arnoldo Iratzeder kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Arnoldo Iratzeder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Cordera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes, Arnoldo Vargas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanford FC and the Velvedere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Arnoldo Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Adolfo Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Arnoldo Iratzeder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvestre Cordera. Sanford FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnoldo Iratzeder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13thth minute of the game Arnoldo Iratzeder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sanford FC's Silvestre Cordera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arnoldo Iratzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Silvestre Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Dylan Mansell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Dylan Mansell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Arnoldo Iratzeder came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Velvedere FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnoldo Iratzeder couldn't finish the play. After 26 minutes, Antonio Meder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sanford FC and the Velvedere FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Sanford FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Meder to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Arnoldo Iratzeder sped through Sanford FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Silvestre Cordera. Silvestre Cordera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Iratzeder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvestre Cordera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Iratzeder in the 39th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Arnoldo Iratzeder's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvestre Cordera was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Silvestre Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Iratzeder in the 46th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adolfo Mikeldi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Velvedere FC's Gualter Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Mikeldi in the 61st minute of play. Arnoldo Iratzeder in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Silvestre Cordera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arnoldo Iratzeder's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Silvestre Cordera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gualter Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 73 minutes into the game, Arnoldo Iratzeder lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Silvestre Cordera. After some careless play in the Sanford FC defense, Dylan Mansell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvestre Cordera. The Sanford FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Cordera should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Iratzeder kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvestre Cordera. That made the score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. Arnoldo Iratzeder took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvestre Cordera. Silvestre Cordera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. If Marcos Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Cordera stood somewhat misplaced when Arnoldo Iratzeder came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 94 minute. When the final whistle sounded Velvedere FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sanford FC.
