Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albino Romero started the match with the kick off. After 12 minutes of play, Magdala AFC's Modesto Lucado made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Dalmau was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 15th minute of the match, Amador Toro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Urbano Dalmau saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Modesto Lucado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Urbano Dalmau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Magdala AFC's Amador Toro in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Ocho FC's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Amador Toro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Dalmau. In the 31st minute, Modesto Lucado made a precise shot to the right of Urbano Dalmau. El Ocho FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. When Modesto Lucado came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Magdala AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Lucado couldn't finish the play. When Magdala AFC's Modesto Lucado in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye El Ocho FC's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, El Ocho FC's goalkeeper Urbano Dalmau had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Lucado. When Amador Toro in the 40th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Urbano Dalmau kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 4-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The corner led Magdala AFC's Isidoro Sein to fire away a dangerous shot which Urbano Dalmau despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Modesto Lucado might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Urbano Dalmau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Modesto Lucado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 65 minutes, Modesto Lucado made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. El Ocho FC's Urbano Dalmau tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Magdala AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Cristo Peyo hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, El Ocho FC's Gerardo Stephen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 83rd minute, Zacarias Gonzales hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 played minutes Magdala AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Peyo. Gerardo Stephen's shot from long distance in the 89th minute was not bad at all, but Magdala AFC's Nicasio Santana knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Modesto Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urbano Dalmau having to interfere. Urbano Dalmau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
