Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 100) Diamante FC's Jimeno Quintana started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Godfredo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Rodrigo Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diamante FC's Rodrigo Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Rumaldo in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Diamante FC's Camilo Bixintxo got a free kick in the 7th minute. Fabricio Baraquiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute Jimeno Quintana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Artemio Liher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Goyo having to interfere. Pegaso FC's Severo Rumaldo got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Godfredo Gomez went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Maximiliano Goyo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Baraquiel in the 37th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Gomez to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godfredo Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Goyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabricio Baraquiel, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Maximiliano Goyo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jimeno Quintana went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Jimeno Quintana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severo Rumaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Abalos having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso FC's zone, Fabricio Baraquiel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximiliano Goyo came out of the goal and Fabricio Baraquiel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Fabricio Baraquiel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Pegaso FC's Maximiliano Goyo. Maximiliano Goyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pegaso FC's Maximiliano Goyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Quintana in the 87th minute of play. With a little luck, Diamante FC's Rodrigo Abalos got control of the ball when Severo Rumaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pegaso FC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Diamante FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paolo Paulin took the corner. The corner led Pegaso FC's Paolo Paulin to fire away a dangerous shot which Rodrigo Abalos despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Diamante FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
