Tobias Giese made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Octavio Urbasa sent off a good shot on target. 18 minutes into the match, Gonnet FC's João Alves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tobias Giese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Uriel Jerico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gonnet FC's Amador Ekhi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angel Escobar in the 29th minute of play forced Culo Gordo's goalkeeper Tobias Giese to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Gustau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amador Ekhi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dante Gustau's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Lino Montes's late challenge caught a Culo Gordo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lino Montes helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gonnet FC's Lino Montes got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Dante Gustau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Culo Gordo's supporters rose to their feet, but Dante Gustau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Ekhi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Uriel Jerico made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Gustau got free with Amador Ekhi in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tobias Giese made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Urbasa in the 55th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Culo Gordo's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Urbasa came free, but Tobias Giese reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Gustavo Aguirre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 72nd minute of the match Lino Montes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lino Montes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Culo Gordo getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Silvano Rodas hit a great ball. 79 minutes into the match, Uriel Jerico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Ekhi. Gonnet FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Uriel Jerico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Octavio Urbasa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Giese having to interfere. Uriel Jerico had several of the Gonnet FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 91 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Amador Ekhi as he didn't even see the shot coming. When the match was over Culo Gordo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gonnet FC throughout the match.
