Valentin Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Romelio in the 3rd minute of play. Godofredo Cordearo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Anacleto Pinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Retamal FC and the Sayaco FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Retamal FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Anacleto Pinto hit a great ball. In the 9th play minute Eloy Panfilo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Guido Lucila. 1-0. Guido Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Panfilo in the 14th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sayaco FC's Eloy Panfilo in the 17th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Guido Lucila was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Retamal FC through an amazing save. Eloy Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmar Koldobika received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Guido Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes in the game, Eloy Panfilo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Guido Lucila having to interfere. When Delmar Koldobika came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sayaco FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Koldobika couldn't finish the play. Guido Lucila made an important save on a dangerous shot by Delmar Koldobika in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute, Leopoldo Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Rene Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sayaco FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guido Lucila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Delmar Koldobika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eloy Panfilo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guido Lucila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Retamal FC's Guido Lucila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eloy Panfilo in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eloy Panfilo was the one to do the kick off. Eloy Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guido Lucila having to interfere. A collision led to Retamal FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Celedonio Toli hit a great ball. Eloy Panfilo took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guido Lucila. Guido Lucila dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sayaco FC's zone, Humberto Etxahun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Kelemen came out of the goal and Humberto Etxahun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th match minute, Retamal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Toli to maneuver through the defense. Sayaco FC's Pablo Enaut couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Retamal FC. In the 90th minute Delmar Koldobika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Lucila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eloy Panfilo in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Lucila saved Retamal FC from getting behind.
