In the 4th minute, Jorge Gudesteo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Christophersen's Andres Cresencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonas Esquipula. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Wilfredo James managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Christophersen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wilfredo James was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jonas Esquipula was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Andres Cresencio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andres Cresencio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Andres Cresencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Jonas Esquipula made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Jorge Gudesteo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas Esquipula was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. 26 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Solo Power Team's Luisito Santana fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Jorge Gudesteo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Christophersen's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Gudesteo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas Esquipula breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 minutes, Cirilo Reynardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Solo Power Team and the Christophersen players grew even worse after the yellow card. Andres Cresencio struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Jonas Esquipula didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Christophersen. After having played for 46 minutes, Elias Caitano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Solo Power Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Caitano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Jorge Gudesteo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Christophersen's zone, Eriberto Elixio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Pitin came out of the goal and Eriberto Elixio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ruperto Quinten fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Solo Power Team's protests and gave Ruperto Quinten a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Christophersen booed when Solo Power Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Quinten didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th match minute, Christophersen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo James to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th match minute Geronimo Anaya ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Justo Pitin. 2-1. 66 minutes into the match, Solo Power Team's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Gudesteo came free, but Jonas Esquipula reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justo Pitin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Caitano in the 76th minute of the match. Jonas Esquipula made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Gudesteo in the 77th minute of play. Jonas Esquipula took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Cresencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eriberto Elixio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christophersen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Solo Power Team for a fine match.
