The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Polvaredas FC booed when PAMPAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 9 minutes, Ciro Jobo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAMPAS FC and the Polvaredas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciro Jobo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Polvaredas FC's Prudencio Niguel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for PAMPAS FC. A hard shot 12 in the game by Rodrigo Lucila from a close distance when the talented Desiderio Cesaro managed to make a qualified save. Polvaredas FC's players were relieved. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Bud Glover put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of PAMPAS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Polvaredas FC:s goal. Severino Llorienzo scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Santos Blai, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cesar Caitano fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polvaredas FC's protests and gave Cesar Caitano a yellow card for diving instead. Cesar Caitano hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th match minute, Polvaredas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Berart to maneuver through the defense. Juan Calixto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Desiderio Cesaro. Polvaredas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Roman Walme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Walme's late challenge caught a PAMPAS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roman Walme helped the player get up and apologised. After the first half Polvaredas FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Lucila made a kick off. Santos Blai was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Roman Walme capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roman Walme really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Juan Calixto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Desiderio Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Lucado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Blai having to interfere. Santos Blai made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Adrian Lucado sent off a good shot on target. Roman Walme blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Santos Blai having to make a save. After 79 played minutes Polvaredas FC got a freekick which was hit by Severino Llorienzo. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Remigio Frascuelo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PAMPAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Frascuelo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Desiderio Cesaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Polvaredas FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Froilan Selmo hit a great ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Adrian Lucado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polvaredas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrian Lucado was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodrigo Lucila during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes PAMPAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Lucila. Remigio Frascuelo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Desiderio Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodrigo Lucila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Polvaredas FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than PAMPAS FC.
