In the 7thth minute of the game Abelardo Guerau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volcán's Aad Thole was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aad Thole made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabricio Macerio in the 8th minute. The supporters of Matadores FC booed when Volcán was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Baristo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th match minute, Volcán was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. Aad Thole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Abeitia in the 19th minute of play. If Severiano Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Volcán getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Cornelio Dalmau hit a great ball. If Gregorio Tiniebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Abelardo Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aad Thole saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Severiano Abeitia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Aad Thole, 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severiano Abeitia got free with Aad Thole in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Volcán's Aad Thole got control of the ball when Gregorio Tiniebra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gregorio Tiniebra might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aad Thole. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Tiniebra ran back to his position shaking his head. Aad Thole made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raimundo Erauso in the 47th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Abeitia in the 48th minute of play forced Volcán's goalkeeper Aad Thole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Candido Min to make the kick off. A collision led to Matadores FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Abelardo Guerau hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Tiniebra in the 61st minute of play forced Volcán's goalkeeper Aad Thole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aad Thole didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Abeitia went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Aad Thole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Guerau in the 69th minute of the match. After 70 played minutes Matadores FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Guerau. Matadores FC's Timmons Branson was substituted for Gregorio Tiniebra. In the 72nd match minute, Matadores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Guerau to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Volcán's Lino Ladio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Candido Min hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Aad Thole made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmons Branson in the 83rd minute of play. In the 86th minute, Baldomero Etor made a precise shot to the right of Aad Thole. Volcán's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After having played for 92 minutes, Timmons Branson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Timmons Branson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aad Thole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baldomero Etor in the 93rd minute of the match. Matadores FC's Hipolito Gai got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Volcán's zone, Timmons Branson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aad Thole came out of the goal and Timmons Branson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matadores FC had played much better football throughout.
