After 30 minutes, Primitivo Nuno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BORUSSIA PUMA and the Saavedra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Primitivo Nuno got his second yellow card in the match during the 32nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Samuel Thomas came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Saavedra's David Sal. But to his dismay, David Sal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 39 minutes into the match, BORUSSIA PUMA's goal looked a bit too open when Roland Okraszewski came free, but Samuel Thomas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Sal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Thomas having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Roland Okraszewski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saavedra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. When David Sal came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Saavedra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Sal couldn't finish the play. Samuel Thomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Jurgi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Thomas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Okraszewski in the 48th minute of play.

David Sal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Samuel Thomas firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vinicio Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Thomas having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, BORUSSIA PUMA's Feliberto Peru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Enetz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jose Jurgi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Samuel Thomas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saavedra. If David Sal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Sebastian Leoiar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BORUSSIA PUMA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saavedra the free kick. Sebastian Leoiar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. David Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Samuel Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Victorio Quico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Saavedra's Jose Jurgi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Thomas. Samuel Thomas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Vinicio Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Samuel Thomas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Peru in the 91st minute of the match. When Jose Jurgi came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Saavedra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Jurgi couldn't finish the play. When the match was over Saavedra could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BORUSSIA PUMA throughout the match.
