Eulalio Fe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th minute, Ljuban Kovše hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eulalio Fe made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Marcelino Guipuzkoa sent off a good shot on target. Eulalio Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Guipuzkoa in the 13th minute. After 17 played minutes Tucumán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Cordeal. The supporters of Tucumán AFC booed when Duraznito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Aznar didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Duraznito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Pello came free, but Eulalio Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eulalio Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Ciano in the 26th minute of play. Eulalio Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Arnoldo Ciano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eulalio Fe. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. Eulalio Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnoldo Ciano, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Abelardo Pello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Fe having to interfere. One of Duraznito AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tucumán AFC:s goal. The Duraznito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eulalio Fe should have stopped the shot. Marcelino Guipuzkoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Fe having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Tucumán AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
