In the 4thth minute of the game Lisandro Firmo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo F.C.'s Fulgencio Brion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Montes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Travassos having to interfere. With a little luck, Los Quebrados FC's Sérgio Travassos got control of the ball when Joonas Nei tried to sneak it across the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Anacleto Leobardo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Fulgencio Brion was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Anacleto Leobardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Fulgencio Brion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Poncio in the 20th minute of play forced San Lorenzo F.C.'s goalkeeper Fulgencio Brion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fulgencio Brion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Firmo in the 22nd minute of play. After 24 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Lorenzo F.C.! The audience thought a goal was coming when Gaudencio Lixandro got free with Sérgio Travassos in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 36th minute Rigoberto Montes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sérgio Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque Medina in the 38th minute of the match. Sérgio Travassos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Montes in the 39th minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Toninho Rodrigues threw the ball into play from the sideline. San Lorenzo F.C.'s Mauricio Manex quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 48th match minute, San Lorenzo F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Manex to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Jaroslaw Grabowicz got a throw-in 63 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Lisandro Firmo. After 68 played minutes Los Quebrados FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Cordeara. San Lorenzo F.C.'s Roque Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Poncio got free with Fulgencio Brion in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Montes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Travassos having to make a save. After 80 played minutes San Lorenzo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Rene Nerio. 86 minutes into the game, San Lorenzo F.C.'s Joonas Nei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sérgio Travassos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Tomas Manex kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Los Quebrados FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Manex. In the 97th minute, Anacleto Leobardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Los Quebrados FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. The San Lorenzo F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Los Quebrados FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Los Quebrados FC.
