The supporters of C.A Darlington FC booed when BARZA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Fidele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Higinio Demario charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Demario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Higinio Demario hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Cornelio Etxeberri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Vito. C.A Darlington FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cornelio Etxeberri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cornelio Etxeberri was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. BARZA's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Eneto to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, BARZA's Remigio Quilino got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 53rd match minute, BARZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Mockiewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th match minute, BARZA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Demario to maneuver through the defense. Aquilino Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Etxeberri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BARZA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cornelio Etxeberri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Szczepan Mockiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. C.A Darlington FC's Rodrigo Amor couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for BARZA. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Cornelio Etxeberri managed to get in a good position for a shot. BARZA's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Etxeberri was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aquilino Vito breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BARZA made a substitution. Carolo Kemen replaced Artemio Loiola. Aquilino Vito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornelio Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Remigio Quilino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Amor kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Jaime Eneto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aquilino Vito was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
