With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Poz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bruno Lizardi came free with the goalkeeper in the 39th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tomás Nuxila could save by the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.
