When Severino Cordara came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chievo Verona F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Cordara couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, juampi futbol club's Eliseo Bonifaco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Clodoveo James. Chievo Verona F.C were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
