Edelmiro Abancens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as TankeGodzilla FC's Evaristo Baraquiel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edelmiro Abancens. That made the score 2-0 after 31 minutes of play. Evaristo Baraquiel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Templarios FC's Edelmiro Abancens proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Templarios FC from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Benvide was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Templarios FC's Isidoro Benvide got a free kick in the 54th minute. Edelmiro Abancens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Castel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Evaristo Baraquiel came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the TankeGodzilla FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Baraquiel couldn't finish the play. Tomás Castel scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Abancens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 73 minutes into the match, Templarios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Castel came free, but Edelmiro Abancens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Tomás Castel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edelmiro Abancens was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Filomeno Tulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Errolan, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Templarios FC's goalie and right to Martín Basil. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Templarios FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.
