When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Saturnino Argenis sped through pichichi's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Cloyo. If Saturnino Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Saturnino Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Arnoldo Cloyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Argenis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Cloyo was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 21st match minute, pichichi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Nayely to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 34 minutes, Saturnino Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARA SAN JUAN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saturnino Argenis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saturnino Argenis in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Cloyo saved pichichi from getting behind. In the 38th minute Eustacio Cidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcial Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When ARA SAN JUAN's Saturnino Argenis in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half ARA SAN JUAN were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saturnino Argenis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Argenis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 52 minutes, Ambrosio Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Bonifacio Roderigo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, ARA SAN JUAN's Jimeno Millano got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 71st minute, Orlando Petrigai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saturnino Argenis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Cloyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Argenis in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnoldo Cloyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 83 in the game by Saturnino Argenis from a close distance when the talented Arnoldo Cloyo managed to make a qualified save. pichichi's players were relieved. Bobby Sall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Cloyo having to interfere. In the 85th minute Bonifacio Roderigo suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Eustacio Cidro fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored pichichi's protests and gave Eustacio Cidro a yellow card for diving instead. ARA SAN JUAN's Ismael Cidro was substituted for Bonifacio Roderigo. In the 86th match minute, pichichi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustacio Cidro to maneuver through the defense. The ARA SAN JUAN fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when ARA SAN JUAN's Saturnino Argenis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Ismael Cidro took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Arnoldo Cloyo to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to pichichi getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Cipriano Furman hit a great ball. Ismael Cidro charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ismael Cidro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
