Spectators: 6943 (Terracing: 5363, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 80) In the 5th minute, Ubaldo Rik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Transito in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Giraldo saved Gaviotas FC from getting behind. Fidel Transito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gervasio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LaLola's Elpidio Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, LaLola's Fidel Transito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gervasio Giraldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the game, Armando Hustaz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gervasio Giraldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fidel Transito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fidel Transito sped through Gaviotas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Giraldo. After 25 minutes, Fidel Transito made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Gaviotas FC's Gervasio Giraldo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Transito's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. LaLola's Armando Hustaz got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Fidel Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. LaLola's supporters rose to their feet, but Fidel Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gervasio Giraldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LaLola's Horacio Boniel got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Fidel Transito put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Gervasio Giraldo. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fidel Transito made a kick off. If Rogelio Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Olaf Reinath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Gaskon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Fidel Transito sped through Gaviotas FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gervasio Giraldo. Armando Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Giraldo having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Nayely to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 62 in the game by Fidel Transito from a close distance when the talented Gervasio Giraldo managed to make a qualified save. Gaviotas FC's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviotas FC's zone, Armando Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Giraldo came out of the goal and Armando Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Horacio Boniel struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Gervasio Giraldo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LaLola. After a rather tough play, Gaviotas FC's Alvaro Nayely got a free kick in the 68th minute. With his leg Gervasio Giraldo managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when LaLola's Fidel Transito fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Fidel Transito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gervasio Giraldo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. Gervasio Giraldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Transito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Giraldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Hustaz in the 74th minute. Gaviotas FC's Gervasio Giraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Transito in the 75th minute of play. Armando Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Gervasio Giraldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 84 in the game by Fidel Transito from a close distance when the talented Gervasio Giraldo managed to make a qualified save. Gaviotas FC's players were relieved. Alfonso Quintan might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gervasio Giraldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfonso Quintan ran back to his position shaking his head. Fidel Transito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Armando Hustaz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gervasio Giraldo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Transito's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. LaLola played a much better game than Gaviotas FC and deserved their victory. The Gaviotas FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
